Trips to Dingwall and Perth, rather than an Edinburgh derby and another crack at Celtic and Rangers. Another 'what if' moment. Another late goal. Another week of replaying the game's key moments in your head and kicking every ball in anger. Hibs' failure to make the top six by losing an injury-time goal to Motherwell when they were just 20 seconds away from finishing in the upper half of the cinch Premiership was a gut punch.
But hopefully the launch of the Hibs Observer's spring sale can help lift some of the gloom for Hibees as we look ahead to the final five games of what has been a frustrating season.
We celebrated the six-month mark a couple of weeks ago. Now, we want to build on that by not only continuing to bring you quality content, but by expanding our offering as well.
CLICK HERE TO SUBSCRIBE TO THE HIBS OBSERVER FROM JUST £1 FOR SIX MONTHS
The good news is that as we look to take our coverage to the next level, you can be with us for every step of the way with a discounted subscription. A 12-month package - which would take you through to nearly the end of the 2024/25 campaign - costs just £18, working out at £1.50 per month. That's £1.50 a month for the latest Hibs news; tactical deep dives; scout reports on potential and confirmed transfer targets; dedicated pre- and post-match coverage; video and podcast debate; comment and opinion, our very own dedicated app for mobile and tablet, and so much more.
If you'd rather suck it and see, we are also offering a six-month subscription for a solitary £1. I think that, when you compare the price of buying a paper every day of the month to the £2.99 monthly subscription fee (based on our full-price package), it's fair to say we're providing value for money.
On top of that, anyone who subscribes between April 15 and April 29 is automatically entered into a prize draw to win a Hibs shirt signed by the Easter Road first team.

Analysis, comment, and more
I'm naturally biased, but I genuinely don't believe there's anyone else out there who covers Hibs analysis the way we do on the Hibs Observer. A lot of credit must go to my colleague Liam Bryce as well as our contributors Craig Nisbet (@9125analysis) and Matthew Rowley (@RowleyAnalysis), for telling the stories between the statistics provided by our data partner StatsBomb.
Matty Fairnie (@longbangers) writes a regular fan column, giving his unique take on all things Hibs - on and off the pitch. In Callum Watt (@callumgwatt) we have one of Scotland's most dedicated young football journalists running our TikTok account and offering an alternative angle of matchday as well as all the clips you need from press conferences and games.
As well as our vast array of written content, there are regular videos on YouTube and Facebook in which we reflect on matches, look ahead to upcoming games, or simply discuss the burning issues affecting Hibs. The vast majority of these videos can also be consumed as podcasts. On top of that, you can sign up to receive the 'Inside Easter Road' newsletter, dropping into your inbox every weekday evening, and the morning newsletter that provides you with all the latest Hibs articles.
Free-to-download app for tablet and mobile
Our free-to-download app for Android and iPhone makes your consumption of our content much easier. The app is easy to navigate, quick to load, and advert-free as well. You can easily adjust the text size, bookmark articles you want to revisit or read later, and there is also an audio option allowing you to listen to the articles if required. Additional features are also being worked on in the background.
I believe that all of the above gives you significant bang for your buck. At a time when cuts have ravaged our industry, your support is invaluable and helps us to create top-quality Hibs coverage that you won't get anywhere else.
