The Hibs head coach spoke to the media after the 5-1 win over Queen's Park in the Premier Sports Cup - here's everything he had to say.

Was that everything you wanted tonight?

"Yeah, very much so. The boys were excellent again, the intensity. Obviously scoring five goals is great, the other chances we created, and defensively we were really strong as well. The only slight negative was to concede the goal at the very end, but the boys were excellent tonight."

How impressed were you with Rudi Molotnikov?

"He was excellent again, that’s the second time he has been a real bright spark, he shows the quality he’s got, pace and power. He was in and around the first team last season but he has really taken his chance this year. He's enjoying himself, he's bright when he gets the ball and wants things to happen. He needs to keep working hard but he is doing really well at the moment."

He doesn't just take the easy option either, you can see he wants to affect the game all the time...

"Yeah, that's something you can see in training - he's got the physicality even as a young boy to hold people up. He's affecting training now and he's also affecting games, which is great. And you can really see he's enjoying himself, which is great. He plays with a smile on his face, and he's got a real good team round about him that are helping him every single day."

That's not his natural position on the left, how has he adapted?

"As I say, he's just enjoying being on the pitch and taking his opportunity. He takes up nice positions, even when he's on the left he's a threat when he moves inside. When he gets someone squared up in a one-v-one position, whether you're wide or in the pocket, he's affecting the game which is great."

Three assists for Josh Campbell, is he blossoming in that role?

"I thought Josh was good again, and there are other things he needs to still keep working on. We're doing a lot of work with him on that, positionally. But he's another one that's affecting the game, and he's proven at this level he can do that. As a collective tonight, I was delighted with everybody. Everybody, to a man, was excellent, they did their jobs. The biggest thing for me was the reaction after losing the ball to keep winning it back, that intensity and desire to keep pushing forward when the game could've went. We were always on the front foot and pushing forward. That's excellent. Also, some boys getting 90 minutes, Joe Newell got a first 90 minutes of the season. And we got out the game with no real injuries, which is great."

Is Elie Youan OK after that collision?

"Yeah, it was just a collision with the goalkeeper. It's one of those, as a coach, and at the stage of the game and scoreline, you don't need to go for it, but at the same time it was brave of both of them to go for it. Hopefully, it's just a dead leg."

You've switched technical areas and are now on the left, what's the thinking there?

"It's just something I've noticed since I've been at the club - everything we do is on the left hand side of the building. We come out the tunnel on the left, we warm up on the left, our subs go down to the left, so it's something I wanted to change to see what it was like. If we'd got beat tonight it might have been going back the other way!"
