Hibs will clash with arch-rivals Hearts this month as the two teams look to secure a massive win at the Edinburgh derby.
This comes after the club's previous match against Ross County was postponed because of poor pitch conditions in Dingwall, leaving hundreds of travelling Hibs fans gutted.
The upcoming derby match will see head coach Nick Montgomery don a microphone after Sky Sports put forward the proposal as part of their live coverage of the game.
However, Hearts boss Steven Naismith declined the offer, saying: "I've been in these situations before. I understand how heated they can get and how passionate people can get. I'm just not interested in it."
We can confirm that our cinch Premiership fixture with Ross County has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.https://t.co/XzcMSEoLZ3 pic.twitter.com/MrmeWN29yE
