Jimmy Jeggo has officially left Hibernian to sign for Melbourne City.
The 31-year-old midfielder - who played 45 times for Hibs - wanted to return to Australia after spending a year in Scotland.
Hibs manager Nick Montgomery previously admitted Jeggo was likely to leave the club this month to return to his homeland.
And Jeggo's permanent transfer to the A-League side has now been finalised with the move confirmed on Wednesday night.
On Jeggo's departure, Montgomery commented: “Firstly we’d like to thank Jimmy for all his efforts during his time with us. He was a model professional and played an important role for the club.
“After a few discussions with Jimmy, it was decided he would explore some interest he had in his homeland.

"When Melbourne City came in for him, it made sense for family reasons to let Jimmy pursue that opportunity.
“We wish him all the best for the future.”
A club statement confirmed: "We can confirm that Jimmy Jeggo has left Hibernian FC to join Melbourne City on a permanent transfer.
"Jeggo, whose contract was due to expire this summer, has returned to Australia to join up with the A-League side.
"During his year-long spell with the club, the 31-year-old went on to make 45 appearances in all competitions."
