Dylan Tait has left Hibs to sign a permanent contract with Championship newcomers Falkirk.
The 22-year-old midfielder moved to Easter Road from Raith Rovers in summer 2021 but has spent most of the last three years out on various loans. He's spent time with Raith Rovers, Kilmarnock, Arbroath, and Hamilton Accies before joining the Bairns for the second half of last term.
He made a notable impact in the third tier, scoring three times as Falkirk sailed to the League One title without losing a game. And now an agreement has been reached that sees him join John McGlynn's side full-time for an undisclosed fee, with Hibs inserting a sell-on clause into the deal.
"We can confirm that Dylan Tait has joined Falkirk FC on a permanent transfer," a Hibs statement said. "The terms of the transfer will remain undisclosed, however the deal does include a sell-on fee. Tait initially joined Hibernian FC in August 2021 but has spent the majority of his time out on loan – with spells at Raith Rovers, Kilmarnock, Arbroath, Hamilton and most recently Falkirk.

"Tait spent the second half of the 2023/24 campaign at Falkirk, featuring 15 times with three goal contributions and helping The Bairns achieve promotion back to the Scottish Championship. Everyone at Hibernian FC wishes Dylan the best of luck for the future."
