Hibs striker Dylan Vente is attracting interest from the Eredivisie.
The Dutch forward, signed on a three-year deal in July 2023, has emerged as a target for PEC Zwolle in his homeland. Vente, 25, was a £700,000 acquisition from Roda JC, scoring four goals in the Premiership last term, and eight in all competitions. Zwolle, who finished 12th in the Dutch top-flight last season, are keen on the forward, albeit claims on Tuesday afternoon that he has already left to finalise a deal are believed to be premature.
Vente arrived in Edinburgh highly-regarded last year, having forged a strong scoring record at Roda, netting 46 times. But despite a bright start, he hasn't been able to recreate that form in green and white. Ex-manager Nick Montgomery played him in a deeper-lying role for a chunk of the season after injury to Adam Le Fondre, and fitness issues of his own curtailed his involvement in the latter stages of the campaign. Despite scoring a hat-trick in his first competitive outing of the season against Elgin City in July, Vente is yet to find the net since.
Hibs have recruited Kieron Bowie on a permanent deal, and Mykola Kukharevych on loan this summer to boost attacking options, with the latter replacing Vente in the starting line-up at the weekend. Elsewhere, the club have announced the signing of Celtic's South Korean midfielder Kwon Hyeok-kyu on a season-long loan. Kwon joined the Premiership champions from Busan iPark last summer but was unable to break into Brendan Rodgers' first XI. The 23-year-old was then loaned to St Mirren in January, and impressed in the Paisley side's run to European qualification - including a dominant display in a 3-0 win over Hibs - before picking up an injury.

Meanwhile, interest remains in Luke McCowan despite Dundee already rejecting two offers from Easter Road. David Gray could also further bolster his backline with another centre-back before the window closes. Any potential arrivals could be offset by more departures, with Hibs still carrying too many players not currently in the head coach's plans for the season.
