Hibs booked a trip to Hampden with a stirring second-half display at Easter Road, defeating in-form St Mirren for a place in the Viaplay Cup semi-final.
After falling behind to Scott Tanser's stunning strike, Elie Youan deflected Will Fish's header into the net before Dylan Vente quickly added a second to turn the tie on its head. Saints levelled through Keanu Baccus, but then it was over to Martin Boyle, the winger helping himself to a double that secured passage to the national stadium in November for Nick Montgomery's side.
Afterwards, they were drawn against Aberdeen in the last four, with Hearts and Rangers contesting the other tie. With plenty to chew over from an eventful evening in Leith, Hibs Observer editor Patrick McPartlin and writer Liam Bryce discuss the big talking points from the game.
